Environmental Approach
- Eti Bakır A.Ş., a subsidiary of Cengiz Holding, operating with its businesses in many points of Turkey. Mazıdağı Enterprise has adopted the principle of respect for human and nature as one of the principles and values it has determined in line with its vision and mission, and continues all its activities within this framework.
- Eti Bakır A.Ş., which has the mission of being a pioneer with the products and services it offers to the sector. Mazıdağı Plant complies with all local and national legislation related to the environment at all points where its production facilities are located. In order to protect environmental ecosystems, it actively determines environmental risks, improves processes and fulfills all relevant obligations.
- Eti Bakır A.Ş. Mazıdağı Plant has state-of-the-art chimney treatment systems in the chimneys of our production facilities, and all legislative requirements are fulfilled. The pyrite mine, which is our raw material, is brought to our facility by rail transport in order to reduce our carbon footprint and this process is supported by continuous improvement studies. It successfully carries out the process with ever-increasing numbers on afforestation works, which is considered one of the most well-known sinks of the carbon footprint. Along with raising awareness of all employees about water saving, a large amount of water is saved with the closed loop water systems it uses. Energy saving is a process we care about and is supported by continuous improvements.
